SAN PEDRO LODGE 292 MEETINGS, EVENTS & ACTIVITIES
April 2 Stated Meeting, Degree Conferral & Proficiency Examination:
Bro. Elmer Caballes was Raised to the Sublime Degree of MM.3
MMs of our Lodge successfully took the Proficiency Examination, Bro.Nelson A.Clemente, Bro. Renel A. Lobo, Bro. Michele .The Lodge’s Committee on Publications Chaired by Bro. Aaron Montenegro distributed the
first issue of the Lodge monthly newsletter “THE COMPASS”.On
April 5, the Lodge, represented by its WM Armando G. Cazzola, was honored (and given a DECS Plaque of Recognition}, by the
San Jose Community High School of GMA, Cavite, during Graduation Exercises, for having provided scholarships
to 100 deserving 4th year students from indigent families. Two among the Lodge’s Scholars
graduated respectively as Valedictorian and Salutatorian. The Lodge granted the two top graduated students a “una tantum”
Monetary Grant of (5,000) Five Thousand Pesos each. On April
10, 2011, San Pedro 292 hosted the District Monthly MeetingOn April 16, the Lodge had a Special Meeting for Degree Works, Conferral of the First Degree of Masonry upon
two Candidates who were previously favorably balloted, Mr. Gil Bagapuro and Mr. Allison Alfeche .On April 27, SPL292 WM Armando G. Cazzola, IPM Ambrosio D. Restrivera, JW Arnel A. Rebeta, started
attending the ANCOM in Davao, until the evening of Saturday April 30. WM Armando Cazzola on
April 27 participated the meeting of the Grand Guild of Past Masters, and on April 30 was conferred the Installed - Past Masters
Degree.The Stated Meeting of May 7 was moved by Special Dispensation
to Saturday, May 21 to allow holding at SPL292 Temple the EXTENSION CLASSES 2011-03 of the Institute of Masonic Education
and
Studies [IMES]. SanPedro Lodge 292 has hosted the Extension Classes 2011-03 of IMES, intended for District
R-IV-B. For
that purpose the Lodge has acquired a high definition LED projector, large (2.4m x 1.8m) Ceiling suspended projector screen,
white board with stand, other paraphernalia for audio-visual seminars and lectures. The IMES EXTENSION CLASSES 2011-03 ran from Friday, May 6 to Sunday May 8 inclusive and
again from Friday May 13 to Sunday 15 inclusive, and in 48 hours of lectures followed by hours of “Open Forum”,
covered (4) four Subjects , “Masonic History”, “Masonic Jurisprudence”, “Masonic Liturgy, Rituals
& Ceremonies”, “Lodge management”.
The IMES lectures were coordinated by VW Renato “RENE”
Driz, IMES Director for Operations, and delivered by VW Samuel P. Fernandez (PhD) IMES Faculty Dean, Chair of Masonic History
Dept. “Masonic History”; WM Armando G. Cazzola, Masonic History, “Propaganda Movement
& Philippine Revolution”; VW Rolando F. Rocha, PSGL, “Masonic Etiquette & Proper Decorum”;
VW Renato H. Driz, Director for Operations, Chair of Lodge Management Dept., “Lodge Management”; VW Percival T.
Salazar, PGA, Chair of Masonic Jurisprudence, “Masonic Jurisprudence Rules & Regulations”; VW
Manuel “NOL”Pineda Professor, IMES Dept. of Masonic Liturgy, Rituals & Ceremonies, “Masonic
Liturgy, Rituals & Ceremonies”On Saturday May
7, in line with previously made commitments, SPL292 awarded, during a recess of IMES Classes, Certificates of Academic Excellence
and 5000 Peso cash “Study Grant” to the Valedictorian and Salutatorian High School Graduated
Students of San Jose Community High School of GMA Cavite, who were part of the 100 HS
Scholars of our Lodge . Also on May 7, During a second
recess of IMES Classes, SPL292 awarded a Plaque Of Recognition, a Past Grand Lodge Inspector Jewel and related GLP Diploma,
to WI Jose Michael Sandoval to show the gratitude of SPL292 for the outstanding work done
by him as SPL292 GLI, the readiness to assist continually demonstrated during his tenure as GLI assigned to supervise our
Lodge.On Saturday May
21, SPL292 has had its Month of May Stated Meeting. After the transaction of Business, the Lodge has Conferred the Third Degree
of Masonry upon Bro. Anthony M. Manabat.During a recess of
the May 21 meeting, the Lodge has awarded ten (10) College Scholarships to students enrolled to the first
year of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, San Pedro Campus. The scholars were selected from among Deserving Students
from Indigent Families. SPL202 has committed to support the Scholars until graduation, provided that the scholars will satisfy
the Academic standards set forth by the Lodge. Scholarships were awarded in the
presence of DSW and SPL Municipal representatives, including the Municipal Administrator.On Saturday 21, during Stated Meeting, the second Issue of the Lodge NewsLetter,”THE COMPASS”
was distributed to the Brethren. “THE COMPASS” contains a section dedicated to District
R-IV-B News.During a recess, Pictures of
all Past Masters were taken for the preparation of PMs portraits intended to adorn the walls of the Lodge Social Hall. So far, from the date of February 12, 2011 Installation, the Lodge has Raised 4 Master Masons
and Initiated 4 EAMs, held Masonic Education sessions before and after each degree conferral, plus, thru the Committee on
Petitioners Supervision Chaired By VW Beato R. Relato, has effectively supervised, screened and oriented seventeen knockers
and petitioners.On Sunday May 22, 2011, WM Armando G. Cazzola
and PDGL VW Beato R. Relato, Chair of SPL292 Committee on Petitioners’ supervision, started to implement
the new program of the Lodge for Petitioners, by visiting the Petitioners and Petitioners’ families at their homes.
The Program calls for Sunday Morning visits, so to have the chance to meet and interview the Petitioners’ families.
On May 21, two Petitioners were visited at home, and their families were interviewed, in San
Pedro, Mr Albert Morales and Mr Joey Sisik . Nineteen
(19) Brethren have enrolled and attended the IMES Extension Classes 2011-03 held at SPL292, Thirteen (13)

Rizal 270, our incumbent DDGM VW Alexis Noriel S. Albano, WB Paolo B. Cailles, Incumbent GLI assigned to SPL292, and Bro.
