JOSHUA Y MANARIN; AND VW BEATO "BEBS" RELATO, DGL;  ATTENDED THE DISTRICT MEETING  [M.D. R-IV-B] AT THE MALINAO LODGE No.25, IN SAN PABLO CITY. ALL THE SIX LODGES OF THE DISTRICT ATTENDED THE MEETING. THE REPORTS OF THE LODGES WERE READ BY THE W MASTERS. THE REGULAR BUSINESS OF THE DISTRICT WERE TRANSACTED, ALL UNDER THE ABLE DIRECTION OF DDGM VW NILO GAVIA, ASSISTED BY THE DISTRICT OFFICERS. THE MEETING WAS ADJURNED AT 12 NOON AND LUNCH WAS SERVED  FOLLOWED BY A LIVELY FELLOWSHIP AT A NEARBY RESTAURANT, WHILE A TORRENTIAL RAIN WAS FALLING OUTSIDE.  THE SAN PEDRO 292 DELEGATION LEFT THE FELLOWSHIP AT ABOUT 5PM, AND HEADED FOR HOME. 

ON THE MORNING OF SATURDAY AUGUST 21, AT THE PRESENCE OF GLI W.BRO. MICHAEL G. SANDOVAL, THE LODGE HELD A SESSION OF MASONIC EDUCATION FOR THE TWO CANDIDATES FOR THE THIRD DEGREE. THE LECTURES WERE GIVEN UNDER THE DIRECTIONS OF CHAIRMAN VW CESAR MEDINA, BY VW SERAFIN E.R. MANARIN, VW CESAR MEDINA AND JW ARMANDO CAZZOLA.  THE LODGE THEN PROCEEDED TO GIVE THE PROFICIENCY EXAMINATION TO THE TWO FCMs . BRO. JOSHUA Y. MANARIN WAS APPOINTED TO BE THE EXAMINER, BY THE WM AMBET D. RESTRIVERA. AFTER THE TWO FCMs WERE FOUND TO BE PROFICIENT IN THE CC OF THE 2ND DEGREE, THE LODGE PROCEEDED WITH TTHE CONFERRAL OF THIRD DEGREE OF MASONRY, FIRST TO  FCM BRO. JOSE IGNACIO A. MANANGHAYA  AND THEN TO FCM BRO. PAMFILO B. FERANIL. THE CUSTODIAN OF WORKS, VW SERAFIN E.R. MANARIN, HAD APPOINTED AS CONFERRAL MASTERS FOR THE TWO CONFERRALS, RESPECTIVELY BRO. SW ROMULO B. AZORES AND BRO. JW ARMANDO CAZZOLA, AS SENIOR WARDEN RESPECTIVELY BRO JW ARMANDO CAZZOLA AND BRO JOSHUA Y. MANARIN AND AS JW BRO. ALVAN JOSEPH T, BALAZO; THE SENIOR DEACON POSITION WAS TAKEN BY BRO JAN B. BRUSAS.  
FOR THE SECOND SECTION, KS AND HT WERE RESPECTIVELY FIRST VW JOSELITO B MAGHIRANG AND W FLORENCIO B. BUENTIPO AND THEN WB FLORENCIO B. BUENTIPO AND  VW JOSELITO B MAGHIRANG.
THE WORKING TOOLS WERE PRESENTED BY BRO. SHERWIN LULUQUISIN AND THE THIRD DEGREE LECTURE WAS DELIVERED BY WI AVELINO S LUBAG,JR. IPM.
AFTER CLOSING THE LODGE, THE FELLOWSHIP STARTED AND MERRILY LASTED UNTIL LOW TWELVE.

THE MASTERMASONS , WITH PETITIONERS AND THE SAN PEDRO DEMOLAY WERE GIVEN CENTER STAGE IN THE PARADE GROUND OF THE MINICIPIO, IN THE FRONT LINE.   THE LODGE HAD SHOWN UP IN BIG NUMBER AND MASONS FROM OTHER LODGES TOOK THE OCCASION TO ADD THEMSELVES TO SPL292.   AFTER THE ADDRESS GIVEN BY THE HONORABLE CALIXTO R. CATAQUIZ, THE SAN PEDRO LODGE 292 BRETHREN  ASSISTED BY THE SAN PEDRO DEMOLAY WERE GIVEN THE STAGE FOR THE WREATH LAYING CEREMONY TO THE SHRINE OF THE BROTHER MASON, NATIONAL HERO DR. JOSE P. RIZAL. AFTER THE RECEPTION OF THE GRAND LODGE DIGNITARIES WAS COMPLETED,  DDGM VW NILO B. GAVIA ACCEPTED THE THE GAVEL OFFERED BY W MASTER RESTRIVERA, AND ASSISTED BY DGL VW BEPS RELATO ACTING AS MC, INTRODUCED AND INSTALLED THE NEW GRAND LODGE INSPECTOR WB JOSE MICHAEL G. SANDOVAL (IPM OF DR. JOSE P. RIZAL LDGE No.270). AFTER THE DDGL WAS TRHU WITH THE INSTALLATION OF THE GLI, THE SAN PEDRO DEMOLAY WERE INTRODUCED AND CONGRATULATED FOR  THE SUCCESSFUL RESULTS OBTAINED AT THE DAVAO GRAND CONVENTION.

RESTRIVERA, THE LODGE STARTED THE TRANSACTION OF  REGULAR BUSINESS, READING OF SECRETARY REPORTS AND TREASURER  FINANCIAL REPORTS, WHICH WERE FOLLOWED BY  BALLOTING FOR A DUAL MEMBERSHIP AND THE BALLOTING OF A PETITIONER:  BOTH BALLOTING ENDED IN REJECTION.

AS CLASS PRESIDENT WAS ELECTED  ARMANDO CAZZOLA, JW OF SAN PEDRO LODGE 292.

THE LODGE DECIDED FURTHER TO WRITE OFFICIALLY TO THE MW GM REQUESTING HIS PRESENCE FOR THE DEDICATION OF SPL292  TEMPLE ON JULY 31, FIFTH SATURDAY OF JULY.
FURTHERMORE, FOR THE LODGE SEAL WAS DECIDED TO RESTORE SAMPAGUITA LEAVES IN LIEW OF ACACIA, I.E. TO RESTORE THE ORIGINAL DESIGN LO THE WREATH ENCIRCLING THE SQUARE AND TRIANLE, IT WAS FURTHER DECIDED THAT THE LODGE SEAL WOULD NO LONGER CONTAIN THE ADDRESS OF THE LODGE AND THAT INSTEAD OF F&AM , THE EXTENDED FORM WILL BE USED, FREE & ACCEPTED MASONS

MAY 15 & 16 SUMMER FAMILY OUTING THREE MEMBERS OF THE  COMMITTE ON SUMMER OUTING , BRO. AARON MONTENEGRO, BRO. MARK ORO AND BRO RICKY AREVALO WENT AHEAD AS ADVANCE PARTY TO HAVE  THE FACILITIES, AND THE DRINKS, PREPARED & READY TO WELCOME THE BRETHREN AND FAMILIES, WICH STARTED CHECKING-IN AT MONTE VISTA RESORT AT 5PM ON SATURDAY. IT HAD BEEN AGREED THAT THE DINNER OF SATURDAY WOULD HAVE BEEN "PACKED" BY EACH FAMILY, THE COMMITTEE NEVERTHELESS HAD FOOD PREPARED, TOGETHER WITH THE DRINKS. THE FAMILIES SETTLED DOWN FIRST IN THEIR ROOMS AND THEN JOINED FOR THE EVENING AND THE NIGHT, THE KARAOKE WAS ACTIVE UNTIL 3AM, EVERYBODY SEEMED HIT BY THE MUSICAL BUG, KARAOKE SINGING WAS CONTINUOUS AND EVERYBODY ENJOYED. MANY, ESPECIALLY THE YOUNGER FAMILY MEMBERS KEPT THE SWIMMING  POOLS  VERY BUSY, EVERYBODY HAD GOOD TIME. IN THE EARLY MORNING THE COMMITTEE ON OUTING  HAD COORDINATED   FOOD  AND DRINKS FOR BREAKFAST READY FOR THE WHOLE MORNING AND LIKEWISE, FOOD AND DRINKS  WERE PREPARED FOR LUNCH AND SUBSEQUENT MERIENDAS AND SNACKS.
ALSO ITALIAN PASTA WAS SERVED AT LUNCH AND MERIENDA, IN ADDITION TO THE OTHER FOOD.
EVERYBODY  LEFT THE PREMISES AT AROUND 5.30PM.
DUE TO THE GOOD SUCCESS OF THE 1ST SUMMER OUTING, THE BRETHREN AGREED THAT MORE SHALL FOLLOW.

FREDERICK AREVALO WENT TO MONE VISTA RESORT LOCATED AT THE BOUNDARY BETWEEN CALAMBA CITY AND LOS BANOS,  TO INSPECT THE RESORTS' FACILITIES AND AGREE WITH THE RESORT MANAGEMENT ON THE FACILITIES TO RESERVE FOR THE SPL292 SUMMER FAMILY OUTING SCHEDULED FOR MAY 15 & 16. 
AGREEMENT WAS MADE FOR THE FACILITIES NECESSARY TO ACCOMODATE  THE PARTICIPANT TO THE SUMMER OUTING, ONE BASKETBALL COURT, WALLED AND COVERED AND WITH OVERLOOKING BEDROOM WAS CHOSEN, FOR THE ACTIVITIES OF THE 2 DAYS, AND A LARGE PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL WAS ALSO RESERVED.

ANCOM 2010 SAN PEDRO LODGE 292 Official Representatives to ANCOM 2010 were SW Romulo B. Azores and JW Armando Cazzola. The activities for the San Pedro Wardens started Wed. 21 with the Seminar on Lodge Management held at the Emilio Aguinaldo Hall of the Grand Lodge from 1PM to 5PM. at 6PM, the WArdens were joined by a large number of SPL292 Brethren for the Elocution Contest held at the Jose Abad Santos Hall of the GLP : The Representative from SPL292, Bro. Winston P. UY was one of the 7 Finalists for the contest. at the end of the contest, the whole SPL292 Group proceeded to the Legend Chinese  Restaurant for the Fellowship. On April 22, the SPL292 group attended the opening of the Grand Lodge and thr Roll Call of Lodges and other activities pf the day. on the 23rd the Wardens participated the reading of GL reports in the morning and the elections of the GJW in the afternoon. at the end of the day's  activities the group of SPL 292 SW Bro Azores, JW Bro. Cazzola, VW Manarin Serafin, VW Maghirang, Bro Pacifico, Bro. Montenegro, Bro Cabinian, Bro Balazo, Bro Palawan, bro Maclesh , Bro Arevalo concluded the day with a pleasant fellowship .

AFTER THE SUSPENSION FOR THE LATE LUNCH, THE LODGE RESUMED ITS WORKS IN THE AFTERNOON WITH THE REPORTS OF THE SECRETARY AND TREASURER, THE READING OF GLP EDICTS AND CIRCULARS, THE ANNOUNCEMENT BY THE WM OF THE NAMES OF COMMITTEE CHAIRMEN, AND THE DISCUSSION AND APPROVAL OF THE 2010/2011 LODGE BUDGET. THE MEMBERSHIP FEE WAS INCREASED TO COMPENSATE THE INCREASED FIX COSTS OF THE LODGE.  THE JW BRO ARMANDO CAZZOLA ANNOUNCED TO THE BRETHREN THAT FUNDS ARE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE TEMPLE FOUNDATION FOR A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM TO BE STARTED ASAP. HE ALSO REPORTED THAT HE HAD BEEN INVITED BY THE PRINCIPAL OF SAN JOSE COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL (GMA CAVITE), MRS MA. BESSIE B. MEDINA, TO BE THE GRADUATION GUEST SPEAKER ON THE SUBJECT " EDUCATION CHANGING LIVES", ON MARCH 31, THAT HE HAD ON SUCH DATE BEEN THE GUEST SPEAKER AS INVITED AND IN THAT OCCASION HAD ANNOUNCED THAT OUR LODGE, SAN PEDRO LODGE 292 WAS ABOUT TO START A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM AND THAT ONE OF THE SCHOOLS TARGETED AS BENEFICIARY OF THE PROGRAM WOULD BE THE SAN JOSE COMMUNAL HIGH SCHOOL OF GMA.  THE JW THEN ASKED THE WM TO NOMINATE A CHAIRMAN FOR THE COMMITTEE ON SCHOLARSHIP AND VW CESAR MEDINA WAS NOMINATED BY THE WM FOR THE POSITION. VW DENNIS G. BATERINA, DGL, GAVE THE LODGE HIS VALEDICTORY SPEECH, BEING THE MEETING THE LAST BEFORE ANCOM. 44TH PUBLIC INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS, SIERRA MADRE LODGE No.181, PAETE, LAGUNA. On Saturday March 13, a delegation from San Pedro Lodge 292, consisting of WM (2010-2011) Ambrosio D. Restrivera, SW Bro. Romulo B. Azores, JW Bro. Armando Cazzola, attended the 44th Public  Installation of Officers of Sierra Madre Lodge No.181, held at the Hanzles Place, Kalayaan, Laguna. The Installation was attended by numerous representatives from all Lodges of the R-IV.B District (Laguna), Many Brethren from other Districts, and from other Countries, and naturally by the Brethren of Sierra Madre 181, their families and Friends. A large delegation from Dr J.P. Rizal 270 was headed by WM Paolo B. Cailles, and included among others VW Generoso Opiña, PDDGM; VW Robert Santos, PDDGM; WI Oscar Jaurigue, Sr; Pinagsabitan Lodge 26 was amply represented and very prominent among them was the VW Edwin C. Tan, IPDDGM. PUBLIC INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS: Sierra Madre 181  Installing  Team consisted of the Installing Officer VW Jesus Flor R. Nicolas, PSGL; The Master of Ceremonies VW Emmanuel I. Diesta, PDGL; and the Assistant Master of Ceremonies VW Cesar B. Gavia, PDGL. The Installed Officers for MY 2010, 2011 were WM Julius A. Hidalgo; Senior Warden Florencio A. Gallardo; Junior Warden Ian R. Galarosa; Treasurer VW Rolando A. Bagabaldo, PDDGM; Secretary VW Cesar B. Gavia , PDGL; Auditor WB Jaime P. Fajardo, Tyler WB (IPM) Virgilio P. Cadang, and the appointed Officers. Welcome address was delivered by WB (IPM) Virgilio P. Cadang, who was then presented with the Past Master Apron and Jewel by VW Leslie D. Moreno, PDDGM; and VW Rolando A. Bagabaldo, PDDGM; and eventually Inducted into the District Guild of PM by VW Generoso B. OPIÑA, (District Guild President). . The guest Speaker RW Santiago T. Gabionza, Jr. Junior Grand Warden, was introduced by WB Nilo B. Gavia.
The closing Remarks were delivered by the VW Antonio Justo M. Zuñiga, DDGM. The Food served was abundant and delicious and likewise the refreshment. The San Pedro 292 Representatives left the lively Fellowship at Low Twelve.

March 10 Rehearsal of Installation Ceremony At 3PM, on Wednesday March 10, at SPL292 there will be a rehearsal of the Installation Ceremony, in preparation for the March 20 Installation. All Elected and Appointed Officers are required to participate.

March 6 Stated Meeting Saturday March 6  Stated Meeting. W. Master Avelino S. Lubag declared the Lodge Open at 1.30 PM.  and the Lodge dealt first with the regular business,  Secretary Bro. Januario B. Brusas read the , as usual, very accurately prepared minutes of February 6 Stated Meeting, and after the approval of it, passed to read the Financial Report, which was also duly approved, the Circulars of the MW Grand Master were then read. The Treasurer VW Michael V. Casipit read the Treasurer report which was regularly approved. The VW Bro. Serafin E.R. Manarin was then called to read his report as Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee for Temple Construction. [A scanned copy of the Report will eventually be reproduced in this Blog].   W. Master Lubag called in the East VW Bro. Ceasar L. Medina, President of the Temple Foundation,  for the election of a new set of Officers of the Temple Foundation: by unanimous vote, the Officers of the Previous year were all approved with the addition of a Vice Presidency given to VW Bro. Manarin E.R. Serafin.  The Lodge was then called by the WM to Ballot three Petitioners,namely Mr. Sherwin M. Luluquisin, Mr. Pamfilo B. Feranil, Mr. Jose Ignacio A. Mananghaya. The three Petitioners were favorably Balloted.  The Degree Works of the day consisted of the Passing to FC Degree of EAM Bro. Frederik S. Arevalo. For the solemn and beautifull ritual the very proficient Bro Frederic D. Cabinian acted as S.D. and Bro. Glenn C. Pacifico acted as the W.M., with Warshipful Master Avelino S. Lubag sitting in the East, SW Ambrosio D. Restrivera in the West and JW Romulo B. Azores in the South . The Working Tools were brilliantly presented to  FCM Frederik S. Arevalo by Bro. Mark R. Oro.  The Lecture of the Second Degree  done by Bro. Winston P. Uy as S.D,  by VW Serafin E.R. Manarin as WM, and the  delivery of the Charge by the VW Bro. Serafin E.R. Manarin were all  masterfully  done .
The W Master then called for the Proficiency Examination of four Master Masons, Bro. Arnel Robert S. Almeida; Bro. Mark R. Oro; Bro. Salic Al-Jabber Paute; Bro. Palawan R. Hadjirasol.  WM Lubag appointed W Bro. Beato R. Relato as the Examiner. All the four Master Masons were found to be Proficient. The Lodge was eventually closed at about 7PM. A very lively Fellowship attended by the Brethren of San Pedro, all the Petitioners and many Visitors, as usually followed and lasted until late.
Noted and highly appreciated, as usual, the presence of the two SPL292 Brethren, VW Enchong Diaz and Bro. Ely Panahon who, in order to attend our Lodge Meetings, have to travel all the way  "the rough and rugged road" (to say it with the words of Bro. Ely), from Palawan and Mindoro respectively.

Frederik Arevalo in preparation for his Passing to the FC Degree scheduled for the March 6 Stated Meeting, the second session was for Petitioners and their families. The Committee of five Speakers was formed by the Worshipful Master Avelino S Lubag, Jr. , the Masonic Education Chairman, VW Bro.Serafin E R Manarin,  the VW Bro. Cesar L, Medina, W Bro. Beato R. Relato,Jr.  and JW Bro. Armando Cazzola. Six Petitioners attended with their respective families, Mr. Allison A. Alfeche, Mr Elmer M. Caballes, Mr. Jose Ignacio A. Mananghaya, Mr. Renel A. Lobo, Mr. Anthony M. Manabat, MMF. After the members of the Speakers' Panel had been introduced by the ME Chairman to the Petitioners and their Families, the Petitioners were asked to introduce themselves and their families  to the San Pedro 292 Officers and Brethren in attendance, after which, and until past 6.30 pm the five speakers alternated at the lectern to illustrate the meaning and the essence of FreeMasonry, the definition and bearing on every Mason's life of the  TENETS of FreeMasonry, and  in particular of the three Principal Tenets of FreeMasonry, Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth,  their foundamental importance and how they guide  Masons' behaviour with Brethren and the community at large;  the qualifications to be met by Petitioners in order to be eventually accepted by the Lodge.  Petitioners and their wives asked many questions, the Speakers answered  the questions which touched many subjects, ranging from the involvement of Masons into the the events leading to the Philippine independence, to the History of FM, from the field of religion and especially about Religious Tolerance to that of the merits of fellowship as medium to increasing bonding among Brethren, to getting to know better Petitioners, to relax and recharge in a safe and friendly environment.     Eventually, Worshipful Master Lubag, Worshipful Master Elect Restrivera, VW Manarin, VW Medina, WB Relato, the Officers, the Brethren, the Speakers, Petioners and their families took dinner at the GF Lodge Hall, and the fellowship lasted until 10pm, with the conversation being mostly centered on the preparation of the Lodge for the incoming SPL292 Public Induction of Officers, of March 20, and the participation of Officers and Brethren to the 94th Ancom  scheduled for April  22 to 24, 2010 in Manila. Transaction of Lodge Business followed the standard pattern. The Balloting of Petitioners was postponed. Masonic Lecture was delivered  by VW Bro. Cesar L. Medina (PDGL)  and by the DGL. Programs were made for the Lodge of Instruction to be attended by the new Lodge Officers on the following day Sunday 10 at Pinagsabitan Lodge No.26 in Sta. Cruz Laguna at 9 AM. DECEMBER 5 STATED MEETING & ELECTION OF OFFICERS FOR THE YEARS 2010/2011 REPORT ON COMPLETED ACTIVITIES
SPL292 Christmas Party was held as scheduled starting at 2pm on December 13, at the Lodge ground floor hall.  With a very large attendance of the Members, their Families, the DeMolay, Petitioners, and guests. The party went on until late at night in accordance with a well organized schedule of events. All had good time.   ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ 
On Saturday December 5, 2010    
with the Brethren of San Pedro in full attendance and the participation of a large delegation from Calamba Lodge J.P. Rizal No.270 headed by W. Master Sandoval and several Brethren from other Lodges,  San Pedro Lodge 292 was Open and tyled at 2PM and under the expert command of WM A. S. Lubag Jr., the Secretary Bro. "Jan" B. Brusas read all the very detailed and accurately prepared reports and minutes of the November Lodge meetings, of the 2  Masonic Education sessions, the financial report and other relevant matters. The treasurer VW Bro. "Mike"Casipit read his report, the VW Bro. Manarin Serafin made a report of donations received by the Lodge and of the Masonic Education seminars held in November, Bro. Armando Cazzola was requested by the WM to make a status report on the Lodge Websites, The VW Bro. Cesar Medina read his very inspiring Masonic Reflections.
After a recess, Election of Officers for the Years 2010/2011 was held.  Three Brethren  of Calamba Lodge Dr. J.P.Rizal No.270 acted as Comelec, as follows:  Comelec Chairman the VW  Bro. Noriel Albano,  Comelec Members the VW Bro. Generoso "Boy" Opiña and the VW Bro. Robert Santos.

Sunday, October 4, 2009 SPL292 SCHEDULE OF OCTOBER & NOVEMBER 2009 MEETINGS NOVEMBER 2009 on Saturday, November 28, San Pedro Lodge 292 has successfully hosted the 51st R.IV-B [Laguna] District Convention. Theme of this year Convention was "Together, Brethren, We Will Make The Difference". The District Convention had as Guest of honor in the East the RW Santiago T. Gabionza, Jr., JGW. The District Convention was attended  by large delegations of Officers and Members from the six Lodges of Laguna [District R.IV.B]. In the EAST presided the VW DDGL Antonio Justo M. Zuñiga, by his side, SPL292 Warshipful Master Avelino S. Lubag, Jr., the Guest of honor RW Santiago T Gabionza, Jr., JGW, the VW Edwin C. Tan IPDDGM, VW Dionisio G. Baterina DGL, VW Noe B. Velaco DGL,   the six GLI,  PDDGMs and all District Officers. I. The Lodge was Open and Tyled at 9.30AM II. VW Antonio J M Zuñiga DDGM received the Dignitaries. III. Invocation was done by the VW Rosauro M. Magcalas, PDDGM IV. Presentation Of Philippine Flag and singing of National Anthem V. Singing of Grand Lodge March VI. Welcome address by SPL292 WM Avelino S. Arevalo, PDGL XIV. THE ELOCUTION CONTEST: One Member of  each of the six Lodge declaimed the "LAMBSKIN APRON", all were appreciated for their oratorial skills. The Contest winner was Bro. Winston P. Uy of SPL292. Breakfast, Lunch. Dinner and refreshments were served at the Lodge GF Lobby and "AL FRESCO", under  the tents set up in the green areas surrounding the Temple. The attendance of many Masons' Families made the Fellowship a lively & happy Family event  until past 10 PM, the weather was perfect the whole day. Master  alternating at the lectern. The VW Bro. Serafin E R Manarin, Chairman of Masonic Education made the Introduction , the W Bro. Rolly Nuñez, W Bro. "Beps" Relato, VW Bro. Cesar Medina, W. Master Avelino S. FC Alvan Joseph T. Balazo successfully took FCM Proficiency Examination and has been Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. Bro. FC Jessie F. Villareal took successfully  FCM Proficiency Examination and has been Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason The LECTURE of the 3rd Degree for the two newly Raised Master Masons has been given by Bro. Armando Cazzola The CHARGE  to the two newly Raised Master Masons  has been delivered by the VW Bro. Serafin E.R. Manarin The two re-enactments of GMHA Tragedy have been masterfully organized and directed by the VW Bro. "Bong" Maghirang who also acted as a very majectic KS. The whole Lodge enthusiastically participated the Raising of the two Brothers.  The Lodge eventually closed Its works at past 7 PM. Ambrosio "Ambet" Restrivera, Custodian of Records VW Bong Maghirang, Treasurer VW Mike Casipit and several SPL292 Brethren, the VW Serafin E.R. Manarin, ME Director, started the session at 5 pm. Four Past Masters alternated at the lectern and delivered the lectures, the VW Cesar Medina, WB Beps Relato, WB Ernesto Cleofe, VW Serafin Manarin.  *********************************************************************             Saturday November 7  at 9 AM. The Stated Meeting started at 9 AM, and after the Secretary Bro. Jan B. Brusas had read the accurately prepared Secretary's reports, the Lodge discussed the agenda for the day, which included the organization for the RIV-B District Convention scheduled for November 28.    The W.M. Avelino S. Lubag ,Jr. has formed a committee for the handling of the Convention. The lodge was also informed by the J.W. Romulo B. Azores about the schedule for the Christmas Party to be held in the afternoon of Saturday December 13. The Lodge proceeded with the Degree Works for the day :  Mr. Frederick S. Arevalo "Ricky" has been Initiated and made an Entered Apprentice Mason  Bro. FC Mark R. Oro has been Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. The Lecture of the first degree has been done by Bro. Quirino Asug Jr. The Charge for the first Degree has been delivered by the VW Bro. Serafin E.R. Manarin. The Lecture of the third degree has been given by Bro. Armando Cazzola. The Charge  for the third degree has been given by the Lodge Orator VW Bro. Serafin E.R. Manarin with  great oratorial skills. The Lodge degree works were done at the presence of the DDGM, the VW Bro. Antonio Suniga.    It was already almost 8 PM when eventually the Lodge closed its works and the Fellowship Started.     ******************************************* *********************************************************   OCTOBER 2009Saturday October 3 Stated Meeting started at 10 AM with the reading of Secretary;s and Treasurer report and the Lodge Agenda for the Month, and was followed by a whole day schedule of Degree Works:  Balloting for Petitioner Ricky Arevalo to receive the Degrees of Masonry,  Balloting of a MM for Dual Membership,  Raising of two of our Brother FC to the Sublime Degree.  Bro.  Winston P. Uy has been raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason,  (his father the VW Bro. Mattew Uy  from Maranaw Lodge No. 111 & Judge Valerio Rovira Lodge No. 259   came all the way from Iligan City to witness Bro. Winston's raising to the Sublime Degree of MM);  Bro.  Nilo A. Macabolos has been raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason.   Bro. Villareal was passed to the degree of Fellow Craft. The Charge was delivered by VW Bro. Serafin E.R. Manarin. The 2nd degree lecture was given by W. Bro. Nel Tolentino of Pinagsabitan Lodge No. 26 Sta. Cruz, Laguna. ****************************************** Our young Brothers  San Pedro DeMolay have held their 16th Public Installation  at the San Pedro Lodge 292 Temple at 2PM on Sunday the 11th of  October. The VW Bro. Serafin R.E. Manarin , guest Speaker. has delivered a very inspiring speach. A good number of SPL292 Brethren have participated the Installation. The families of the San Pedro DeMolay young men were also present.  ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ SEPTEMBER 12, 2009 Saturday September 12, at 1pm.  Special meeting for Degree Works: Bro. FC Quirino M. Asug, Jr., has been Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. The 3rd Degree Lecture was, as usual, most brilliantly delivered by The VW Bro. Lorenzo "Enchong" Diaz. The Charge was masterfully given by the VW Bro Serafin E.R. Manarin. The Choreography of the reenactment of the GMAA Tragedy and the design and supply of the magnificent Costumes was, with the usual care for particulars and effects, engineered and done by the VW Bro. The September 5 Stated Meeting Commenced in the morning as announced and the lodge was able to accomplish the whole Degree Works program [Three EAM have received the 2nd degree]: Special Lecture was delivered in the morning by VW Lorenzo Diaz on the role of Masons as Citizens. The lectures for the 2nd degree were delivered by VW Michael Casipit  and VW Serafin Manarin. The "Charge" was masterfully delivered by VW Serafin Manarin. Fellowship did as usual follow the Stated Meeting and it was very lively and enjoyable, with the participation of a large number of Brethren from Calamba JP Rizal 270, and guests from other Lodges.

On August 23 a delegation of San Pedro Brethren headed by WM A.S.Lubag & SW A.D.Restrivera, PMs V.G.Guce & C.L.Medina, went by car to Malinao Lodge 25 in San Pablo City to attend the Monthly District Meeting, where they met the brethren of the other 5 Lodges of District R.IV-B and District Officers DDGM, PDDGM, DDGL among others.

Saturday, August 8, 2009Augustst 1 Stated Meeting was held starting at 9AM because of the large amount of Degree Works scheduled for the day : Balloting of two Petitioners, 3rd degree Proficiency for 3 Brothers and Passing of 2 EAM.
At lunch time a Power Point presentation was done, as announced, showing several options for exterior painting and architectural "effects" for our Building. The chosen solution has already been posted in SPL292 Websites.
Next Power Point Presentation will be held either during next SPL292 Special Meeting at 1PM on August 22 or during SPL292 September 5 Stated Meeting, and will show more detailed design for the Architectural elements to be added to our Building facade.               Please attend Every Stated and Special Meetings of Your Lodge
